Everit - Believes in a world that revolves around the spiritual path guiding Humans back to nature. In a world so technologically driven, dividing humans and nature, Evirit sees the poetic truth in which humans are not above nature but part of nature- two entities melting into one. The way it ones was, the way it always has been. Providing garments that are made with a frame of mind to create alongside nature, sustainability and local craftsmanship are preserved and provided to the future tribe that is longing for transparency in production. Most materials I worked with within this project were biodegradable. I worked with the making bio-leather; it is made with a type of algae called agar-agar. I first sew together recycled paper and dyed it with a natural dye called logwood. After that I coated it with the bio-leather the make the paper stronger and more useful. The other natural material I worked with as borax, a mineral salt. I created a grid of macramé with woolen threads that I then crystallized with borax salt. The special thing of borax is that it dissolves in boiling water again, therefor you can make new product all over again.
Social Developments: One of the biggest problems these days that late teens and young adults are faced with is housing crisis spreading like wild fire all over the developed countries with supply being scarce, demand high and prices constantly moving away from anything perceived as affordable. The situation, being set in an environment of general political and economical turmoil, has created rather negative backlash in young communities. Brought up in the age of consumerism, Internet and social media, so used to creating and displaying something that is not necessarily existent, alternating truth the youth of today forms a certain coping mechanism that is a response to unsure future. That unusual mix of circumstances has created a group of restless customers and instant creators, to which the physical aspect, durability or even truthfulness of a solution is not equally important to it’s existence. Growing frustration as well as the instant gratification seen as norm, youngsters coming of age are seeking out for solutions, weather more realistic or set in social media fantasy, yet the problem ought to be addressed. By seeking out for different kinds of solutions, comes sustainability. by using recycled fabrics and materials and constructing them in a way you can de- and re-attached parts to make it longer or shorter. By doing this I give the recycled elements a different meaning. I made use of an emergency blanket what I stuck on jersey sweat, the purpose now is that it will keep your body temperature on one point. The pants you can take apart to make it short pants whenever you like. The shirt pattern is made in an unusual way, by drawing shirt around a person’s body in this way you make fast fashion literally fast. The shirt is made of a patchwork of recycled tracksuits. A pocket system as a smart item for the collection, you can find this on the harness, made with press buttons and pockets out of recycled taped cigarette boxes.

Making the ordinary shape extraordinary by the study of ‘sports’ movements that are integrated in a straight base. And with as straight base the suit. It all started by the words transformation and ‘hotel of doom’. This evolved into the creation of something that was misplaced, deformed and also transformed. And that was when I started looking in how sports movements behave on a straight body, by and integrating it in lines and also by actually placing the movement on the suit. You get this misplaced and deformed base

iNDiViDUALS (est. 2006) is a premium, Dutch fashion studio initiated by AMFI - Amsterdam Fashion Institute. iNDiViDUALS works with fashion industry brands by consulting from a branding, management and design point of view. As 3rd and 4th year students iNDiViDUALS has developed a clear vision on what the future of sustainable fashion will look like. We believe in fashion that does not hurt others and solely work for sustainable brands. Our way of working is the blueprint for the industry. This semester we have consulted PME Legend to create LANDiNG 27: An inspirational Concept for the future of sustainable fashion for PME Legend. By looking at their main question ‘‘How to get the youger consumer (18-26)?’’ By remaining their heritage ‘the Cargo Pilot’. That resulted in a collection focussed on the PME heritage (cargo pilots) and sustainibility, with NO use of any hardware to make the reclyling process better, together with educational prints and carelabels that bring transprancie to the garments and collection. This resulted in a collection of 12 physical and 3 digital outfits. Together with the collection, the branders created a persona of 4 different guys which are the active, the courages, the executive and the phygital guy that created one squad.
